ABOUT

Empire Communities is a residential builder/developer involved in all sectors of the new home building industry, including both low‐rise and high‐rise built forms. Celebrating 25 years of building inspiring new places to live, Empire has an established tradition of creating prestigious award-winning new homes, communities and amenities and has earned a reputation for outstanding attention to detail and customer service. Since its inception in 1993, Empire has built over 12,000 new homes and condos. Today, Empire is one of the largest homebuilders in Canada with current communities in Toronto, Southwestern Ontario and the Southern U.S. States. Empire engaged LuxStory as the video partner on a brand awareness campaign.

STRATEGY

Empire Communities launched a 13-week marketing campaign called Love Design, Live Empire and commissioned LuxStory to produce the first season of an eight-episode Love Design, Live Empire video series with five style guide videos, a teaser episode and an additional bonus video. In partnership with HGTV design expert and celebrity Andrew Pike, the video series explored five new model homes. The video series was distributed across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and the Empire campaign website  The focus of the video series was to educate viewers on design and décor, capture qualified leads, and elevate the number of Empire digital platform subscribers, viewers, and followers. 

OUTCOME

By distributing the Love Design, Live Empire series across many platforms, Empire Communities as a brand attracted current Empire homeowners, potential new homebuyers and interior design and décor enthusiasts. The campaign performed well beyond its goals and garnered over 70K video views, 22k website visits, 1.9k new subscribers, and 3.65M digital ad impressions over a 13-week period. The first season not only elevated the brand and collected nearly 2000 new leads, but the series proved so successful that LuxStory Media produced a second season of the Love Design, Live Empire video series. The first season of this campaign also won the Ontario Home Builders Association Social Media Award.
