Connie Contardi

Connie is a TV and Film Producer, digital brand strategist and serial entrepreneur. She began her career working in Publicity and Promotions at 20th Century Fox before moving into various production roles on Hollywood features for New Line, Sony and Mandate Films.

In 2007, she co-founded CJ Mercon Productions Inc. a TV/Film production company where she co-created and produced television programming for various networks worldwide including Food Network, HGTV, A&E and HBO Canada. In 2015, the company launched “How To Cake It” a hugely successful digital brand which includes one of the fastest growing YouTube channels in the world with over 62 million views in under a year.

As a co-founder of LuxStory Media Inc., Connie oversees all content production and works with a roster of talented filmmakers from the film and TV world to create compelling, story driven online video for travel and luxury lifestyle clients.

Bhargavi manages LuxStory Media’s business development team, client services and press/ influencer relationships. Bhargavi ensures that LuxStory Media’s video content and distribution is strategically in line and exceeds client expectations. LuxStory Media is reputed for delivering cinematic, HD, high-quality content to the clients, media publications and content publishers that they service.

Bhargavi began her career in Publicity and Promotions for 20th Century Fox before building on that experience in consumer packaged goods marketing at Kraft Foods. While in film publicity, Bhargavi worked closely with luxury hotels such as Four Seasons Hotel Toronto over multiple Toronto International Film Festivals. It was during this time that she developed her appreciation for great design, service, amenities and the multitude of stories that hotels, destinations and travel brands have to share with their customers and stakeholders.

Avid travellers, Bhargavi and Connie conceptualized LuxStory Media and co-founded the company in 2014 after noticing a lack of engaging storytelling in the hospitality market. LuxStory Media began to meet the rapidly growing demand for the production and distribution of cinematic, story driven, editorial video content in the travel and hospitality sector.

As a working mom, Bhargavi is passionate about female entrepreneurship and the evolving paradigms of the entrepreneurial parent.
